An eclectic selection of collectables will come under the hammer first. This includes English and Continental silver – featuring 4 Cape silver tablespoons by Lawrence Twentyman, a Geo V Freemasons’ Trophy, a Victorian Sheffield plate table epergne and an impressive pair of 3 light candelabra with 4 matching candlesticks as well as Russian and Dutch silver pieces

Some select furniture pieces are a William IV fold-over card table, a Transvaal child’s  riempie chair and a Cape Stinkwood transitional Tulbagh side chair.

Not to be missed is the impressive Georgian mahogany and veneer John Carter long case clock.  Among the interesting collectable pieces are two pairs of Norwegian vintage skis with original  bear trap fittings, Cross writing instruments and a Doulton Lambeth Vera Huggins vase.
The session will conclude with a selection of toys including Dinky, Corgi, Matchbox and Scalextric cars & track stock, a Hornby clockwork train set as well as a Japanese battery operated Distant Early Warning Radar Station in near-mint condition.
A scarce Pierce Gent’s 18ct triple calendar & moonphase wristwatch is included in 21 lots of  fine estate diamond and gold jewellery. Impressive 18ct gold 2.45 and 1.13ct diamond rings,  a breathtaking white gold bracelet, an Omega diamond-encrusted ladies dress watch as well as  tanzanite dress rings, emerald, sapphire & diamond set tennis bracelets and a heavy 18ct gold  box link bracelet will pique the interest of many a collector.
The 120 lots of South African and European art & sculpture will follow after 12:00.  The highlights of the auction are a large impressionistic Errol Boyley oil Golden Reflections,  Zakkie Eloff’s Rhinos UmfoloziOffice Redecoration a lithograph by Robert Hodgins,  a limited edition signed exhibition poster by William Kentridge, Frank Spear’s Harlequin,  pencil sketches by Erich Mayer & Katrine Harries, David Botha’s still life and Waenhuiskrans scene, Italian sculptor Omero Berretti’s Volto di Donna and Arcuata Forma Femminile as well as African wonderstone sculptures by Zimbabwean Joseph Muzondo.
