Maker: James Dixon and Sons, Sheffield 1939, the plain and curved rectangular-shaped body with rounded corners, surmounted by rising collar, hinged and domed bayonet screw-top cover, engraved and inscribed with a dedication to the original owner: To Mitch, best wishes and dated 1944-45, over a detachable drinking cup, on an oval foot, further stamped: 1/2 Pt/ 0.125 on the underside (Mass: 322g) (15.5 x 10 x 2.5cm) (Condition report: Minor dent to the left hand side of the case)
