Conditions

Bernardi General Mart Terms:

A) All Goods consigned for general mart public auction or private treaty will be sold without reserve.

B) All goods consigned for general mart public auction or private treaty if not sold within 14 days from receipt will be returned to the relevant owner/s and any/all costs incurred will be payable before goods will be returned or collected. NB: Any/all goods not collected within this period of 14 (fourteen) days notice & still remaining thereafter will attract additional charges for storage, handling & insurance. Thereafter the client/s relinquishes all goods to be sold for the best possible price & to highest bidder, all/any costs will then be deducted and the balance of proceeds will be remitted to the seller/s in due course.

C) Payment for all sold items will be effected 14 working days from the date of sale, provided that Bernardi auctioneers CC has been paid in full by the purchaser/s.

D) Free consultations & evaluations will be available by appointment at our venue, however, should our services be required for estate, insurance or family division purposes an hourly rate will be applicable plus VAT and any other unforeseen expenses. Should Bernardi Auctioneers CC be appointed and instructed with the complete disposal of the assets within 30 days, the consultation costs will be reimbursed at payment for the listed goods sold.

Bernardi Fine Art Auction Terms:

A) All Goods consigned for Bernardi Fine Art auctions or private treaty will be sold without reserve, unless documented arrangements are made with the Auctioneers prior to sale.

B) All goods consigned for Bernardi Fine Art auctions or private treaty if not sold within14 days from the date of auction will be returned to the relevant owner/s and any/all costs incurred will be payable before goods will be returned or collected. NB: Any/all goods not collected within this period of 14 (fourteen) days notice & still remaining thereafter will attract additional charges for storage, handling & insurance. Thereafter the client/s relinquishes all goods to be sold for the best possible price & to highest bidder, all/any costs will then be deducted and the balance of proceeds will be remitted to the seller/s in due course.
