Maker: The Essex Engineering Works, London, Wanstead, 12 Nelson Road, production issued 1946-1956, the maroon painted frame with steel sewing plate & later veneered wooden work-panel, hem guide & screw, presser foot, foot lifting lever, attached spool pin, fixed tension clip, cross-lever, steel driving wheel with driving belt, mounted on a veneered base with affixed maker’s plaque PLUS an adjustable clamp, which secures the machine to the table-top (Scratches to base) (20 x 22.5 x 16cm)
