the lobed, raised & fluted melon-shaped body with everted foliated flared rim & domed cover, surmounted by a detachable raised & cast pumpkin & foliate finial, enclosing a tin-lined interior & an inner handled charcoal cylinder, the body featuring an incised armorial crest, integral open-cast ornate scrolling acanthus leaf, flower-head & fruit embellished handles with cast spigot tap, on a raised & embossed stiff-leaf & flower support & conforming fluted foliated circular rising base, on a square-shaped platform base, on cast leafy-scroll, rocaillé & flower decorated feet (Height: 45cm) (Condition report: Minor wear to plating) Note: This tea urn is similar in design & appearance to a silver Melon-shaped tea urn made by the Barnard Brothers in 1828 Reference: https://www.ifranks.com/item/e4579-silver-tea-sets
