(Switzerland) (Noel Béard) established in 1888, Montreux, comprising: 1 x teapot with hinged flat cover with demi-lune finial, 2 x milk jugs/ewers, 1 x handled sugar bowl with detachable cover, each fitted with integral cast graduated handles, 1 x sauce boat, 1 x Mappin Plate sauce spoon, Maker: Mappin and Webb Ltd, 3 x medium oval-shaped serving platters (Diameter: 42.5cm), 2 x larger oval meat platters, stamped with the maker’s marks, stamped: Hotel Boulevard and no. 30cl, 75cl, 16cl, 50cl and 2 x EPNS “A” sectional three division vegetable dishes (Diameter: 48cm) Provenance: Originally from The Boulevard Hotel (The Happy Hotel) in Pretoria, which was located 186 Struben Street, Pretoria established in 1954 by brothers – Archie and Jimmy McLachlan, it eventually closed its doors in 2001.
