Obverse: Featuring the bust of Emperor Victor Emmanuel III facing left, surrounded by the inscription VITT.EM.III.RE.D’ITALIA.IMP.DI.ETIOPIA. Stamped at the bottom: the crowned letter ‘Z’ (symbol of the State Mint) and the Letter ‘C’ and the inscription ROMAGNOLI. Reverse: Depicting a view of the Ethiopian mountains and a Fasces on the left. Inscribed: Africa Orientale, Molti Nemici, Molto Onore (East Africa, Many Enemies, Much Honor) and engraved Mussolini’s autograph signature.
