Mod: 25142, Ferrari Official Product no: 319231690, issued 2021 onwards, the precious resin barrel of the edition is inspired by colour (Rosso 70 Anni) as a homage to the racing spirit formative in the earliest years of Ferrari, engraved with the date of Enzo’s Ferrari’s birth (18-02-1898) and the date of his first racing victory (17-06-1923) are engraved on the cone terminal, above featuring twelve engraved lines on the barrel, to symbolise the twelve cylinders of an engine, surmounted by a matching detachable cap, the ruthenium-coated clip, inscribed with the quote: “You cannot describe passion, you can only live it”, further ornamented by a plain band engraved with Enzo Ferrari’s signature and his father’s workshop in Italian: Officina Meccanica Alfredo Ferrari, the iconic rampant horse (cavallino rampante) with the Countess Paolina Biancoli’s words: Le porterà fortuna (It will bring you luck), the cap is crowned by the Montblanc emblem on a yellow background (colour of the city of Modena), surrounded intricate pierced openwork reminiscent of a vintage car grill, enclosing a rhodium coated Au 585 (14ct) solid gold handcrafted nib no. 48 /10 and Enzo’s nickname: Pilota and the steering wheel of the 250 GTO (One of the world’s most renowned racing cars), further embellished with platinum coated fittings (With original presentation case, information and service guide booklet, outer box and white cardboard sleeve) (Condition report: Minor tear to box, otherwise excellent condition, brand new) (Retail price: R 29, 200)
