Macy and Co., New York circa 1920s-1930s, the upright trunk constructed of canvas-wrapped wood panels with vulcanized fibre slats, reinforced with iron rivets and brass-plated hardware and leather side straps. The trunk enclosing a two-part Art Deco-style blue and floral pattern lined interior, the left side with a sliding brass garment rail, original shaped wooden hangers, and a padded canvas compressor board, whereas the right side fitted with four graduated drawers embellished with nickel-plated handles, secured by a swinging locking bar, the top drawer configured as a millinery compartment and a matching small suitcase, further embellished with an affixed riveted retailers plaque: R.H.
