the rectangular-shaped and hinged case with flat domed and rebated cover, featuring raised and embossed naïve cartouche with central lotus flowerhead amongst foliate and rocaille scrollwork, enclosed by an incised gadrooned border, over conforming front, sides and back panels, further fitted with a riveted cast fretted gilt metal floral hasp and staple, opposing leafy-scroll drop handles to the sides, enclosing a royal blue velvet lined interior, raised on serrated leafy bracket feet (13.5 x 30.5 x 22cm)
