the book is signed by the following racing drivers – 1) James Hunt (English 1947-1994), 1976 Formula 1 World, raced for March, Hesketh and McLaren, he died from a heart attack, 2) Carlos Reutemann (Argentinian 1942 – 2021), 12 x Grand Prix wins with Ferrari and Williams, he became an Argentine Senator, 3) Mark Donahue (American 1937 – 1975), he was known as “Captain Nice”, raced he won the Indianapolis 500 Race in 1972, he unfortunately was killed at Österreichring, Austria, 4) Ian Scheckter (SA 1947 – ) Older brother of Jody Scheckter, competed in 20 Formula 1 races, raced for March and Hesketh, 5) Lella Lombardi (Italian 1941 – 1992) first woman driver to score points in Formula 1, finished 9th in the 1976 Le Mans 24 hour race, won twice racing sports cars, raced for March Williams and Brabham, died of cancer, 6) Ronnie Petersen (Swedish 1944 – 1978) known as the “Super Swede”, he was the runner up in World Championships in 1971 and 1978, raced for March, Tyrell and Lotus, 10 Grand Prix wins, died from complications after an accident at the Monza Autodromo, 7) Vittorio Brambilla (Italian 1932 – 2001), he was the 1975 Austrian Grand Prix winner, raced for March, Surtees, Alfa Romeo, raced sports cars for Abarth & BMW, he died at home from a heart attack, 8) John Watson (Northern Irish 1946 – ) he won 5 Grand Prix’s & raced for Brabham, Surtees, Lotus, Penske & McLaren, he became a TV commentator, 9) John Surtees (English 1934 – 2017) 500cc World Motor Cycle Champion 1956 – 1960, F1 World Champion in 1964, only racer in history to be Champion on both two & four wheels, raced Lotus, Cooper, Lola, Ferrari, Honda & BRM F1 Cars, finished 3rd at Le Mans 1964, died from respiratory failure, 10) Colin Chapman (1928-1982) founder of Lotus Cars in 1952, introduced the monocoque & tube frame chassis, wings & active suspension to F1, won 7 Constructors & 6 Drivers World Championships, died of a heart attack, 11) Clay Regazzoni (Swiss 1939 – 2006) 5 Grand Prix wins, raced for Ferrari, BRM, Ensign, Williams & Shadow, paralysed from the waist down after an accident at US Grand Prix in 1980, died in a car accident in Italy, 12) Jacques Lafitte (French 1943 – ) won 8 Grand Prix’s, raced for Iso Marlboro, Ligier & Williams, 13) Emerson Fittipaldi (Brazilian 1946 – ) won 2 F1 World Championships, won 2 Indianapolis 500 races, 14 Grand Prix wins, raced for Lotus, McLaren & Fittipaldi Automotive, 14) Carlos Pace (Brazilian 1944-1977) 1 x Grand Prix win, 6 podium finishes, raced for Williams, Surtees & Brabham, finished 2nd at Le Mans 1973, died in an aircraft accident near Sao Paolo, Brazil, AND 15) Jody Scheckter (SA 1950 – ) winner of the 1979 World F1 Drivers Championship with Ferrari, only SA F1 World Champion, raced for McLaren, Tyrrell, Wolf & Ferrari, raced in the World Sports Car Championship in 1973
