HN 1319, modelled by Charles Vyse, issued 1929-1959, set on a black painted plinth base, with original factory backstamp impressed date 3.39 on the underside (Height: 19cm) Note: Queen Mary famously spotted an early version of the piece at the factory and exclaimed, “Isn’t he a darling!”, which inspired the name.
