the case features a rectangular top with an inset, shield-shaped brass cartouche, beautifully embellished with the engraved Gothic-style monogram “B” of the Brand family. Below are three graduated long drawers fitted with recessed brass handles, pulls, and keyholes. The drawers open to reveal Prussian blue felt-lined sectional flatware compartments, retaining remnants of the original paper labels pertaining to the flatware stored within. The piece is set on a solid plinth base (23.5 x 49 x 32.5cm)
