the circular shaped solid cast brass case, enclosing a glazed panel and a white dial resembling an aviation instrument and navigation map with bar numerals, the upper portion (centerpiece) with Arabic numerals and enhanced by a black silhouetted map of the world continents, further embellished with time grid lines of longitude project down the world map and cities therein mentioned, fitted with gilded pencil hands, verso fitted with a removable stepped and domed case back cover, enclosing a battery operated Junghans movement, set on a rectangular platform base with presentation inscription: Joseph Cohen SAA HIP and dated 1992 (Height: 18.5cm, diameter: 17.5cm) (Condition report: Oxidation evident to case)
