Maker: William James Dingley, Birmingham 1897, the shield-shaped and pierced openwork wreathen crowned armorial cartouche with a central embossed figural relief reserve, depicting a tug of war scenario, surmounted by a suspension ring, verso engraved and inscribed: Kimberley Siege Sports Tug of War, 1st Prize won by S.H. Siebert, dated 31-1-1900 (4 x 3 x 1cm)
