Maker: Atkin Brothers, Sheffield active c.1853-1964, each shaped body featuring a central incised, engraved and bright-cut Adam-style beribboned and foliate embellished vacant oval cartouche, further ornamented with floral swags and patera pendants, surrounded by a foliate and wriggle work border, the crumb tray enclosed by a graduated raised lobed, panelled, fluted and bead decorated rim, surmounted by an integral cast gadrooned acanthus leaf support, conforming beaded collar and terminating a graduated turned handle whereas the brush features an inset bristle board (Crumb tray: 9.5 x 32 x 22cm) (Brush: 4 x 37 x 4cm) (Condition report: Age wear and oxidation evident to plating and splits to hafted mounts)
