Maker: Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1907, the cartouche-shaped openwork reticulated punch pattern bowl, featuring sectional foliate scrollwork, husk and diamond lozenge trellis panels, surmounted by an applied raised and embossed ornate rocaille, shell and scrolling leaf ornamented foliated rim, surrounding a central plain reserve, raised on four applied integral cast leaf capped scrolled strapwork supports, ending in pad feet (Height: 7cm, diameter across handles: 20cm) (Mass: 178g) (Condition report: Old solder repair evident to join and handle)
