Maker: Robert and Briggs, Sheffield, Furnival Works, 38 Furnival St, active 1859-1863, each pierced 5-tine and shaped fish slice blade, profusely embellished with incised and bright-cut scrolling leaf, husk and rocaille motifs, terminating in a graduated handle, ornamented with engraved monogram W H and enclosed by embossed shell, anthemion and foliate scrollwork decoration (Largest length: 30.5cm) (Condition report: Age wearing to plating) Note: The firm became Roberts and Belk in 1864.
