Maker: Richard Meach, London 1771, the central inverted and hollow-cast pear-shaped spirt burner with detachable cover and pierced wick aperture, featuring reeded and beaded banding, issuing four revolving stretchers with floral bosses, each applied and fitted with Rococo cast, pierced openwork sliding scrolled supports, each surmounted by gadrooned shell rests, on conforming scrolled and openwork leaf gadrooned banded feet (Approx mass: 774g) (10.5 x 30 x 18.5cm) (Condition report: Dents and imperfections, age wearing and scratches evident to arms and maker’s mark slightly worn)
