Maker: Wallace Sterling (R Wallace and Sons), Wallingford, Connecticut founded in 1835 – , pattern first introduced in 1941, stamped model no.4101, each central plain vase-shaped capital with attached sconce, flanked by integral cast scrolling leaf arms, surmounted by two conforming candle nozzles, suppported on a plain tapered stem and lower reeded knop support, on a circular rising stepped base, embellished with raised and embossed rose, rocaille and leaf motifs, enclosed by ribbed and beaded borders PLUS 2 x extension nozzles (Total height: 27cm, total; height with extension: 35cm) (Total mass: 1960g) (Bases and body loaded) (Condition report: 2 x extension nozzles, 1 x candelabra is damaged and detached from its base, minor dents and imperfections evident)
