the composite silver clad body of ovoid form, featuring raised and embossed silver overlaid incised and figured relief panels, depicting the funerary mask of King Agamemnon, surmounted by the famous Lion Gate entranceway with face brick effect, verso further decorated with a geometric shield panel, ornamented with raised and moulded roundels and ropetwist bands on a textured ground, raised on a circular foot, incised and inscribed: AG 999.
