The calculator is operated via a manual rotating right-hand crank (clockwise for addition/multiplication and counter-clockwise for subtraction/division). The front carriage includes quick-clearing cranks at opposite ends and two mechanical buttons for single-place carriage shifting, stamped no. 3275-00.
