Maker: Crisford and Norris Ltd, Birmingham 1910, the rectangular-shaped case with hinged cover, depicting a central raised and embossed repousse relief of a wolf standing on a finely incised and engraved bright-cut rocky outcrop, inscribed: On Guard, surrounded by a raised c-scroll and rocaille border, further profusely embellished with clematis flowerheads, anthemions, leafy tendrils and vacant cartouche motifs on a finely incised tooled ground, verso the case back-panel with typical Rococo-style flower, leaf, scroll and trellis decoration (10 x 7 x 0.5cm) AND an Edward VII Art Nouveau silver cold meats fork, Maker: Philip Ashberry and Sons, Sheffield 1908 (Condition report: Hinge pin deficient to card case and minor dents to corner ) (Mass: 68g)
