designed by Esteri Tomula (Finnish, 1920-1998) and Kaj Franck (Finnish, 1911 -1989), production issued 1965-1971 the shallow rectangular-shaped platter with raised rim and upturned edges, featuring hand-painted and transfer-printed underglazed bright green garden pea pods, purple sliced onions, green tomatoes and a yellowish orange carrot on a white ground, impressed L-27.5, with factory backstamp, pattern name, designer’s name: E Tomula and further inscribed in Finnish: “konepesunkestävä on the underside (4 x 27.5 x 27.5cm) Condition report: Crazing evident)
